Under the SCANA Energy Regulated Program, low-income consumers are able to receive special natural gas rates regulated by the Georgia Public Service Commission. Credit-challenged consumers can get service if they are denied by other natural gas marketers.

Low-Income Qualifications

To be eligible for special regulated rates, customers must meet the following qualifications:

  1. Household's total income is at or below:
    1-person household $29,713
    2-person household $38,856
    3-person household $47,999
    4-person household $57,142
    5-person household $66,284
    6-person household $75,427
    7-person household $77,141
    8-person household $78,855
     
  2. Proof of income for all household members 18 and older for the past 30 days
  3. Social Security cards for all household members
  4. Most recent Gas and Electric Bill for household
  5. Georgia ID or Passport
