Remittance Stub

This is the perforated section on the first page of your SCANA Energy Regulated Division bill that can be detached and sent back with your payment. It contains your amount due, the due date, and the amount due for late payments.

Detailed Summary

The Current Charges section on page three of your bill can get a little tricky — there’s a lot packed in there! This section is where you'll find a detailed list of fees and charges, so you know exactly what's behind your total monthly charges.

Rate Plan

Your plan type (fixed or variable), term length (e.g., 6, 12, 18, or 36 months), and term expiration date. Fixed rates stay consistent through your contract term; variable rates can change monthly.

Natural Gas Consumption Charge

Your gas rate multiplied by the number of therms used this billing period.

Customer Service Charge

Monthly charge covering account maintenance and service.

AGL Pass-Through Charge

This charge covers the cost of delivering gas to your home, pipeline maintenance, and meter reading. No matter which marketer you select, you’ll see charges from Atlanta Gas Light on your bill. Learn more here.

DDDC (Dedicated Design Day Capacity)

Dedicated Design Day Capacity is the space reserved for you on the pipeline on the coldest day of the year. Your DDDC is used to calculate your AGL Pass-through Charge.

Usage (CCF)

CCF is a measure of the volume of natural gas. This is usage registered by your meter during the current billing period, stated in cubic feet.

BTU Factor

Amount of heat energy in the gas. The number is multiplied by the amount of gas used (CCF) to calculate the actual energy supplied by the gas (therms).

Therms

The heat energy in gas measured in British Thermal Units. The number is multiplied by the usage (CCF) to calculate your therms used.
