If you do not qualify as low income according to the established DHS guidelines, but you have been denied service from any marketer, you may qualify for service with SCANA Energy Regulated Division.
To establish service, contact SCANA Energy Regulated Division at 1.866.245.7742. Inform the SCANA Energy Regulated Division representative that a marketer denied you service and that you do not qualify for service through DHS. We will need your legal name, Social Security number, phone number, date of birth and employment information..
The SCANA Energy Regulated Division representative will then perform a credit check through Equifax for verification purposes, set up an account and give you the account number and payment location where you can pay your deposit. Customers are required to pay a $150 deposit at time of sign up. Establishment fees will appear on your first monthly bill along with an $8.95 customer service charge.
Once the deposit is paid, you will need to call SCANA Energy Regulated Division so we may contact Atlanta Gas Light to schedule a date and time for your natural gas service to be turned on.
